Do you have any interest in self reliance food production? or have you wanted to grow your own vegetables and produce your own meat without outside help?  Maybe you already know how to grow and raise livestock and vegetables and need to learn the next step of canning, meat processing, and food storing?

We have been producing our own food for more than 30 years using techniques and methods that have been passed down from generation to generation. Jim Frank's Farm is now in its fourth generation of the same family ownership starting back 1886 firmly rooted in homesteading and raising our own food. We have the belief that our knowledge is needed as much today as it was 100 years ago. We continue to teach, hold classes, and workshops to share this knowledge with others.

Classes are normally scheduled for weekends with longer ones on Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm but times due very and Sunday afternoons from 1 pm to 3 pm. Our in person classes include chicken tractoring, chicken wellness and egg production, meat chicken breeds and butchering, rabbit housing and wellness, rabbit butchering, meat goat breeds and production, milk goats breeds and milking, goat butchery, beef breeds and pasture raising cows, beef butchery, meat processing, cheese making, bread making, trailer backing class, vegetable canning and preserving, meat canning, preserving, and dehydration.
